Frequently asked questions

What lenders and funds ask us before working with us.

What is Pruff?

Pruff is the infrastructure to run credit operations. It covers the full lifecycle of a financial product — from origination to reconciliation — and connects the lenders that originate with the funds that finance them, on the same operation.

Who is Pruff for?

For two players. On one side, lenders that originate and manage credit — factoring, confirming, leasing and guarantees — with Pruff Financing. On the other, private debt funds that finance those operations, with Pruff Funds. Both work on the same network.

Which financial products can you run on Pruff?

Factoring, confirming, leasing and guarantees, plus the associated credit lines. The seven-stage flow is configured per product, so each one runs under its own rules on the same file.

Which countries does Pruff operate in?

Chile and Colombia.

Does Pruff replace my current core or sit on top of it?

It replaces it. Financing is the operating core, not a layer on top of another system: origination, assessment, contracts, disbursement, collections, reconciliation and reporting all run on the same file, with no second source of truth to sync.

Does it integrate with banks?

Yes, through Fintoc. Bank movements flow straight into the operation, so the statement reconciles on its own — no manual file uploads.

Does it integrate with tax information and credit bureaus?

Yes. Pruff uses tax information to assess risk and to support invoice assignment, and it queries credit bureaus inside the same assessment flow.

How does legal collections work?

It is integrated with Cobranza Online. Legal proceedings stay connected to the same operation file, so case status shows up where the debt shows up.

Does Pruff have an API?

Yes. On top of the API, Pruff exposes an MCP server: the operation can be queried and executed from an assistant. And there are agents running inside Pruff on that same information.

How does Pruff protect information?

With an information security management system aligned to ISO 27001. We passed the internal audit in April 2026, and the external certification audit is projected for the end of August 2026.
